Bio
Brooke Schlenker is the newest member of GPNW Mission Center team. Brooke’s roots in Community of Christ run deep within her family in the Midwest and the Pacific Northwest. She grew up in Iowa and attended the University of Northern Iowa getting her degree in Elementary Education with minors in Literacy and Special Education. She later finished her masters degree in Literacy Education. Brooke worked in the education field in Iowa and Washington holding positions as a classroom teacher and then as an ELA Instructional Facilitator. Brooke has had camping experience as a camper at Community of Christ youth camps, program director with a non-profit children’s oncology camp, and is on staff at Spectacular. She and her husband attend the Highland Park Congregation.
