All within the LGBTQIA+ community AND the allies who love and support the community are invited to attend the Beyond Horizons Retreat on the weekend of November 17-19, 2023, at Lewis River Campground in Yacolt, Washington (near Portland, Oregon).
We will come together in safe space for connection, fellowship, and laughter as we journey through the theme of “God’s Work: A Framework for Affirming All”. An important focus of this retreat is to explore an aspect of the Greatest Commandment that we often ignore, to love ourselves as well. There will also be plenty of time for visiting, playing games, and going on adventures on the campground and nearby!
We welcome Guest Ministry Jami Smith who will make that journey with us. Jami serves as the Vice-President for Harmony. In addition to facilitating our theme classes, she’ll have an opportunity to share about the Welcoming & Affirming Program for Congregations and Groups through Harmony. Spiritual Companions will also be with us to provide a listening ear and facilitate some sacred moments that we’re calling “Journeying Together”.

As voices of hate continue to marginalize the LGBTQIA+ community, this retreat will provide a time to get away, grow as an individual and community, and journey alongside others in a spirit of love, acceptance, and hope for the future. Come and make new friends and rekindle old friendships. Again, all in the LGBTQIA+ community as well as our allies are invited!
The retreat fee is $75 per person. (Please note that Children and Youth are welcome to attend with their parent/legal guardian or sponsor. However, there will be no specific children or youth activities planned)
You can register here: https://BeyondHorizonsRetreat2023.eventbrite.com. Registration deadline: November 13.
